The installation of the Springboard I.T Production Control System has meant Berry & Escott now has a system giving complete control of our manufacturing process. It has also improved our ability to meet our customer’s delivery schedules and our shop floor data collection has enabled us to have an up to the minute overview of the status of work in the factory. The Introduction of Seiki Scheduling software has now made it possible to move forward into the realms of future capacity and efficient work planning.
The deployment of the Solidworks Cad system in 2008 allows Berry & Escott to create true 3D modelling of components and to produce manufacturing drawings for our customers to approve. Berry & Escott has designers ready to help you with your requirements.
We can receive and process 2D drawings or 3D models electronically in a variety of different formats including: Parasolid, SAT (ACIS solids), AutoCAD (DXF, DWG, Inventor ipt files), Solidworks, SolidEdge, CADL, STL, IGES, VDA, ASCII. STEP, Catia and Pro-E.
In 2012 we introduced Delcam for Solidworks which integrates the feature-based technology from FeatureCAM with PowerMILL’s ‘best in class’ multi-threaded tool path algorithms into one completely embedded solution, through the SolidWorks CAD system. Delcam for SolidWorks provides us with the most advanced manufacturing solution within the Solidworks software. This ensures any revisions or changes that are made to designs automatically post new tool paths, thus eliminating error.
